Cool Casinos: Magnum Casino & PokerPass
Magnum Casino
Making an appearance this week was a neatly presented new online
casino and sportsbook called Magnum Casino.com which uses a no-download
gambling suite from a Paris, France based company we had not previously
heard of called Alea Media Limited. The suite offers a selection
of around 14 average to good quality games covering the usual casino
faves, backed up by a six language capability, toll free and email
based 24/7 support, play tracking and a variety of finance options.
The licensing is Belize and the operator and owner is listed as
Intervero.com, with a sister site in what looks like the Finnish
language branded Igraj Casino.com. Leaving aside the rather garish
colors on some of the games, the presentation is neat and clean.
Pokerpass launches
InfoPowa has previously reported the affairs of Mark Glusing's
LegalPlay - formerly Poker.com Inc - and has flagged the (then)
upcoming launch of the new Pokerpass.com site. This has now launched,
but there is still no confirmation on the origin of the software,
which we suspect is from a Swiss provider or indications of which
European jurisdiction is licensing this new operation.
The company says it will market PokerPass, a traditional poker card
room directly to European poker players but will not accept deposits
from US or Canadian citizens due to legislative issues. Legal play
expects to generate revenues based on earning a rake from each hand
played.
PokerPass.com, players will be able to participate in a number of
promotions including a progressive bad beat jackpot, daily high
hand bonuses and compete for seats at the World Poker Open and the
World Poker Tour. The online poker card room will feature games
like Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi / Lo, 5 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud
and 7 Card Stud Hi / Lo in traditional, single and multi table tournament
formats.
