Microgaming Poker Network Bad Beat Jackpot Strikes Twice
In Two Days Paying Out A Phenomenal $470,792
The Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) Bad Beat Jackpot has finally
been hit following weeks of rapid growth, paying out a total of
$470,792 shared between 10 lucky players.
The first hit took place on Saturday 12 February when a regular
player at NordicBet Poker, lost with Four of a Kind Tens to a Royal
Flush. The lucky loser took home $195,404, an amount of money usually
accessible only to the very top-ranked online poker players. Three
other players at the table also shared in the huge win.
The player commented: “I knew that my Four of a Kind Tens
weren’t enough to beat my opponent’s Royal Flush, although
when I looked moments later I saw notification of my win and realised
that I had hit the Bad Beat Jackpot, and start screaming! I still
can’t believe I won and now I think it’s time to relax
before taking my place back at the poker table.”
Shortly after the first hit, the Bad Beat Jackpot struck a second
time on Sunday 13 February, paying out $79,985 between six players.
This is the largest Bad Beat Jackpot won to date on the MPN and
the first time it has been won twice in two days. It will be paid
out in single payments to the lucky players.
