Neteller Available in New Jersey
December 23, 2013
Neteller
continues to make its way back into the United States with the latest
state to approve the re-entry being New Jersey. Optimal Payments
Plc is the parent company of Neteller and they have been approved
as a payment provider in New Jersey.
Neteller was the most popular way for gamblers in the United States
to send and receive money before the U.S. government came up with
the UIGEA to screw things up. But the U.S. government got their
money and now companies are making their way back into the U.S.
under the cover of dealing with the individual states. Online gambling
has been approved in Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey and two of
those two states have approved Neteller. There is no risk this time
around for Neteller as they have been approved. Neteller already
has deals with Caesars Interactive Entertainment, Inc. and Bally
Technologies. "We are excited to be an approved vendor in New
Jersey and we look forward to leveraging our vast experience and
expertise to help facilitate online payments for our partners in
New Jersey," said Joel Leonoff, President and CEO of Optimal
Payments.
New Jersey was expected to go live with their online gambling on
November 26th. Nevada took the lead earlier this year as they launched
online poker sites for players in the state of Nevada. New Jersey
has taken a much bigger step as they will have other forms of online
gambling including slots and blackjack. Delaware was expected to
be live with their online gambling options sometime in November.
