Online Gambling Accreditation RG Check - Internet Launches in
Canada
August 20, 2014
Online casinos that are looking for a way to assure proper accreditation
can use RG Check-Internet which is an international accreditation
program. RG Check-Internet was launched by the Responsible Gaming
Council (RGC) which is an adaptation from the RG Check-Venue program.
RGC will run the program in Canada while internationally the program
will be run by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
When it comes to getting accreditation, online casinos want to
use a company that is reliable and trusted. The RG Check-Venue system
started in 2011 and it accredited 60 venues. “RGC set out
to create the gold standard of consumer protection,” says
RGC CEO Jon Kelly. “The RG Check program, based on 7 standards
and 51 criteria, gives Internet gambling providers the opportunity
to have their responsible gambling safeguards assessed against comprehensive
international standards and a rigorous accreditation process.”
Getting an accreditation from RG Check is a six-month process which
wraps up with an independent assessment done by a panel of experts.
The accreditation is reviewed each year.
Online gambling firms always want to make sure that they are accredited
so having another option will be helpful. Providing consumers with
the best and most reliable online casino games is critical in today’s
high tech market with a number of online casinos competing against
one another. RG Check-Internet should prove to be a popular accreditation
program.
