Evolution Gaming Expanding to Canada
A five-year agreement has been reached between Evolution Gaming and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) to provide live dealer games and related services. It is the Swedish company's first casino studio outside Europe. The venue will be used as a base for further expansion by Evolution in Canada.
“It’s a real-time table game, hosted by a live dealer which can be seen online by our players via a live video streaming link,” explains the BCLC’s Doug Cheng.
The 16,000 square foot studio will be located in the Vancouver area. It is expected to be operational before the end of the year and will initally feature ten tables for blackjack, baccarat and roulette. Operational staff will be recruited locally and they expect to provide jobs for more than 170 employees.
