Review:
If you are a video poker fan you will be in seventh heaven at Global Player – they have just about every variety of videopoker you have heard of – and a few you probably haven't. In all they have 28 non jackpot and 14 jackpot games. Most machines are available in denominations of between 5c and $1 so there is something to suit your bankroll.
If you are looking for a wide variety of games, you are likely to be disappointed, as Global Player only offer four basic game types, Blackjack, Roulette, Slots and Videopoker. However they offer an unrivalled variety of Blackjack, with both multiplayer and single player options, and games including Baden Baden, Atlantic City, Spanish 21 and Las Vegas Strip/Downtown. Table minimums range between $1 and $10. They also host sit and go blackjack tournaments with buy ins between $15 and $50.
The variety extends to Roulette with American, French and Single Zero varieties, but sadly seems to miss slots with just one basic slot machine Golden Planet although at the time of writing the 25c machine had a very impressive progressive jackpot of $63066.
Although the graphics and sounds in the games are not fantastic, the machines do play very fast which suits me fine as I don't like to wait around. I've never actually cashed out here but I hear that payments are fast, and they actually boast a cashout time of as little as 12 minutes on the site depending on the deposit method used.
Overall, although Global Player lacks many of the games and features offered by other casinos, they score highly on variety for the games they do have. Particularly recommended for video poker players.
