Review:
I signed up for Poker champs because Gus Hansen is my favorite poker player, I know cheesy reason, but it's true! Once I downloaded it I noticed it is a lot cooler than most poker sites. Everything looks really fancy and it has a cool green color scheme, plus you can play in one tiny window that doesn't take up much room or play 4 tables at once in the screen. It has lots of extra info too, if you click on about you can see your connection and frames per second and a whole bunch of neat little things.
One big selling point of Poker Champs is there free rolls, they cost nothing to enter and are cool if you're a beginner and want to try and get some real money. It's ridiculously hard though because most tourneys have around 1000 players and first place is only $5, but they can still be fun.
There are tons of tournaments to choose from and the live cash games have a good amount of people, I'm still waiting to get to play with Gus, I don't think he's on as much as the Pokerstars pro's unfortunately. I've played Omaha, stud and hold'em and all are equally as good here. Poker champs turbo tables are actually a bit better than there normal ones I think, at least if you don't like sitting around for hours for someone to call.
Only problem I've ever had was on my first withdrawal and it took 5 days to get, but since then all of my cash outs have only taken around 2 days. Also there's not very many deposit options, only Neteller, visa, and wire transfer. Fortunately I use Neteller, but I'm sure just having those options excludes a lot of people. Other than that Poker champs is a really good site, plus if you're usually just a play money player I'd hit up the free rolls, who knows you could get lucky and make some real money.
