I often wonder what the marketing department were thinking of when they came up with the name Shark Casino – to me the name shark conjures up images of conment and villains!! Nevertheless, Shark Casino with its unlikely mascot Kemp the Shark has been around for some time now, and as I have always received good service and prompt payments there, I can honestly say that it doesn't live up to its name!
Powered by RTG, Shark boasts the usual assortment of games, including speciality games such as Bingo for which you and your bank balance are transferred to Bingo Blast. Simply log in with your Shark username and use the RTG balance transfer option in order to fund your account.
Unlike most RTG's which use their own inhouse banking interface, Shark redirects you through to the doughflow website in order to make a deposit. The first time I used it I managed the miss the big signs telling me to click the blue doughflow button (doh) and get extremely irritated by the casino software returning the error message “Amount must be a whole amount (no decimals) between $0.00 and $0.00” !! Once I had finally read the instructions, my Neteller deposit went without a hitch being credited to my account instantly.
I personally don't like to play with coupons, but if you do, Shark generally have some nice bonus offers, although do check maximum cashability and playthru requirements. Their current signup bonus is buy $25 and get $75 but this money can only be cashed out if playthru requirements are met – and this is currently 18x bonus and deposit on slots and keno – ouch!!
Nevertheless, payments are very speedy at Shark, I have always received payment next day and they state on their website that payments any payment requested before 11am EST Monday to Saturday will be processed the same business day. Customer service is good although they can be a little tricky to get hold of via the Live Support link on their site.
On the whole, Shark is a fun casino, with fast games and excellent service – however watch out for the playthru on the bonuses – they bite…
